Positive: Location is perfect. Behind the train station, multiple supermarkets, coffee shops, shopping and restaurants. And more importantly a safe area for single travelers. Room is really clean. They clean it without extra charge. Most staff speaks english so it's easy to communicate. One thing to improve is the amenities. They could at least place a small kettle in the room. Overall i love my stay and i highly recommend this hotel.

Positive: Location-wise, it’s a great choice if you’re visiting Zurich and looking for a more affordable alternative, or simply need a convenient stop on your way to the airport. The hotel is perfectly situated right in front of the Oerlikon train station, making it easy to reach both Zurich city center and Zurich Airport within minutes.
Negative: A clearly massive building has been transformed into a design hotel — and while the ambition is evident, the execution feels mixed. The space is vast, and despite the good intentions of skilled designers, there’s an overwhelming sense of emptiness, especially in the downstairs lounge and dining room. It brought back memories of old socialist-era buildings that have undergone a superficial facelift. To pull the interior together, they’ve laid down a custom-designed carpet — perhaps stylish on paper, but a questionable choice for guests with allergies or respiratory issues. It feels more decorative than practical. Breakfast? At first glance, it looks promising — a wide spread. But on closer inspection, it’s a very standard Swiss formula: bread, juice (yes, you can squeeze your own), coffee, jam, fruit, and a few uninspired slices of cheese and ham. I tried the omelette twice and, to be honest, it seemed like they were competing in a contest of who can use the most cooking oil. Really unpleasant. On the positive side, the beds are excellent — a true highlight — and the hotel’s location is genuinely convenient: just a short train ride from both Zurich city and Zurich airport. The pricing also reflects this: it’s positioned well for travelers seeking a better value alternative just outside the city buzz. In short: The foundation is solid, the owner clearly had a good checklist — but the hotel still lacks warmth, finesse, and better air (literally and emotionally) to make me want to return.

Positive: I really love the design of this hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the stay very welcoming. Its location right in front of the train station is perfect, with excellent connections to both Zurich city and Zurich Airport. I would definitely choose this hotel again whenever I visit Zurich.
